I would probably wait on a PS3 until more games come out and also a possible price break.
Also, you can sign up for a SONY card and get $100 off a PS3 plus no interest for 12 months.

So you do this: Get the 40gb into the gold box deals on amazon.com for 5% off, then order from there due to no tax/shipping fees, and then 5 days later see $100 off so:
$400-$20-$100= $280 for a 40gb PS3

fix the system, I know nothing about that shit so I got a quote from the sprinkler expert.
