Default Sleep Apnea

Does anyone have sleep apnea?
My girlfriend told me how I was snoring so loud and kept stopping breathing. I told my doctor when I went in and he said sleep studies are expensive and insurance companies won't cover them. He heard of this free one that they come out to where you live and strap a few things to you to detect your levels. He said if that detects it he can show it to my insurance company and they will cover a real sleep study.
I did this about a month or so ago and got a phone call a few days ago about how I need to go back in and talk to them and schedule a sleep study because I have sleep apnea.
Just turned 21 and I have a hiatal hernia, acid reflux, tendonitis in both wrists/arms and now sleep apnea. Woo.
So are the masks a pain to use?

They give you a machine to help you breathe...

Contact your insurance about the sleep study. Sleep apnea is a legitimate medical condition with a sleep study being needed to diagnose. It's not like a chiropractor / temporary fix.

Till then:
1. don't sleep on your back
2. make sure you can breathe from your nose (use a nasal spray or breathe right strip)

My ex said I had gnarly snoring problems, but only when I slept on my side with my arms out in front of me. She'd move my arm up onto my side/hip and I'd stop snoring.

...however irrelevant that may be. But yeah, I've listened to my friend snoring, (sounds like he has a similar problem to yours) and sometimes it sounds like he's gonna die... I've actually tried waking him up :ugh:

People with health insurance are ghey.

For real though, if you can stop the snoring for the gf's sake that's great, otherwise I wouldn't worry about it. I don't think you're going to die, and if someone did die from sleeping...

Anyway, what are the symptoms of your wrist tendonitis?
