my buddy had a Russian SKS but it got jacked when his house got robbed. That's what you get for moving into the hood. I don't care how nice the house looks inside, it's all about location.

Is the Russian basically the same as the Chinese, but the Russian used better wood for the stocks?

my dad has a russian sks with the 5 round clip on it. its pretty fun just to go pump rounds down at the shooting range, his pinches rounds occcasionally. personally i love my mosin nagant 1942 all matching numbers greatest birthday present ever. ditch the sks and get the ak 74 imo. this local gunshop has 3 of them all are gorgeous.
