mines less than a year old and says IBM right on it.
they JUST started not saying IBM on them as far as i know.
we got about 300 thinkpads in our company ... trust me i see a fair share of them daily.
lenova started building the thinkpads in 05, they have an agreement with IBM. they still work very closesly together

I'm looking for an all around laptop.
It will be used for school.
I want a tablet because i draw and do photoshop a lot.
I will still have my built desktop so this will not be my main computer.
It needs to be solid.
Run pretty fast.
I would like it to last a long time.
My biggest thing is there both comparable but i just cant decide on one over the other.
And some gaming will take place on it but nothing more than half life 2 level of games.
