well it's only a 75hp and 100tq bump so it won't be significant really but the main thing is it makes the truck more driveable and responsive. At stock settings it has a lot of lag in it's throttle response and this cures it.

Are you planning on opening up the exhaust some as well?

 

yeah a 4.5" exhaust and going to "crush" the wastegate so I can boost up to 38# or so.

After that I am probably leaving it alone except for the body, paint and suspension work

Well the cost is significant at that point but we will see what happens.

Also forgot I need to add a new air setup as well.

 

So I got it all in today while at work. Was pretty straightforward and without issues.

I do have one comment on install instructions: whoever the hell comes up with the "installs in 20 minutes" they post on the box needs to have their ass kicked royally. Now I am not saying it took a long time but 20 minutes is unrealistic especially if you install the pyrometer.

So that being said it all works correctly and I blew smoke at a few bus stops...on the fly adjustments kick much ass

Truck is stock right now and so is the turbo. Only thing going on there is "crushing" the wastegate so I can hit 38lbs boost, then I open her up for breathing.

This is all the groundwork for when I do the airride suspension.
