Help me decide...( 2 possible bikes)
buy a cheapie to hold you over.... if that is what you really want, will you be happy with the kawi? nope. next year you will wish you had ordered the street3 (especially the first time you see somebody else riding one) in 2008 and you will end up buying used or waiting again.
If i do end up with a brand new bike (or left over) i plan on keeping it for at least 10 years...i want it to be like the bike you dont get rid of. my SV was supposed to be that bike but i had to sell it. there was no way of getting around that.
ive been putting a lot of thought into this whole bike thing...
ive considered every type of bike...
from cafe racer's to SV1000 to Ninja 650r to ZX6r...
i honestly think that im going to wait for the street triple...i have been reading up and they are coming out with a "R" model... upgraded brakes and suspension (pretty much off of the daytona)
i think thats going to be the way to go...but im sure ill change my mind 100 more times until then.......
I will never buy a new bike again because it is rediculously pricey and they drop in price so fast. You can find pampered ones for 7000 or less and have a few miles on it but perfectly fine,
Also sport bikes are RARELY owned for more than 5 years if that. I already want the new gsxr600 and I want a cruiser so I can go nice and easy and comfortable.
That said. I also :boink:  the triumph 675. :boink:
