Something other than Kawasaki.

The 08 GSX-R 600 has the A,B,C fuctionality where you can select the output that the motor makes so A mode for 600cc, B for 20% less, and c 40% less than A. That way you can save money AND select your power.

The RR is hands down one of the BEST sport bikes out there. They handle like a dream, great power band, easy throttle, and smooth pick-up. Downfall...most expensive 600 off the four.

The R6 to me always had an ugly front fairing (from the riders perspective). I also didn't like the feel of it when in "riding position"

If you are staying int he "usual" 600 crowd I would do GSX-R>600RR>>>>R6>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>ANY Kawasaki.

It's actually a parallel twin, not a V. I really like those 650Rs. Unless you are actually tracking the bike you'll never utilize the extra capability the ZX6-R has over the 650R on the street, and the 650R will be a whole lot more comfortable if you plan to commute or ride it with any frequency. The 650R really won't be an "upgrade" from your SV650, though -- it probably rides & handles real similar. If you are looking for an upgrade, then go with the 600. If you are looking for a "replacement" for the SV that looks more like a sportbike, the 650R is perfect.

I agree with Drac though, if you want a 600 over the 650R get a CBR600RR or the GSXR600 -- both are better right now than the ZX6R.

the GSXR = FUGLY!
the CBR= Over priced

the ZX6R= beautifully crafted and reliable (good price range)

and i think that ONLY the GSXR1000 has the a b c options.

The GSX-R is not fugly. The 650R you posted is nasty, and the ZX-6R looks like it has down syndrome. Also under the seat exhaust is retarded. You lose the truck (yes it IS handy).

You think this looks good? :eh:

Apparently you don't keep with the times. The A,B,C programing is such a hit that they put it on the 600.

New S-DMS engine management system allows the rider to choose from three engine settings to match riding conditions with a handlebar mounted switch
