Default Vista?

I just bought the Vista Ultimate DVD from school...Do I have to have Xp before installing? or can I just install it straight onto a fresh hard drive?

clean install, but set your bios to boot from the CD-Rom first, not HDD.

Straight onto the hard-drive.

So many Vista haters. I honestly love it. SP1 makes a world of difference also.
