My insurance change was so minimal from adding an alarm that i didn't really notice. Other things like safe driver, student discount, multi-policy and a safer car made much much bigger dents.

Insurance really isn't that high. I pay $108/month with the ticket AND a higher rated sports car than a civic hybrid.

That's $120 a year, and at least a little bit of security helps. Better than none :dunno:

I may just go with a basic sound-only alarm.
