He is such an @$$h073!!! he is a very good player but his personality is caca. He live 7 blocks from my job, and a couple of times I seen alex eating at this restaurant where my cousins work and you see kids and adults trying to say hi or get anything sign but he always ignore everyone and never sign anything for the kids. It is sad to see the kids crying because they didnt get a autograph. In the same restaurant I seen jeter signing autograph and talking to everyone like normal ppl. keep in mind everyone who eat in this restaurant is most likely a millionaire.

If I was making that much money, I'll hire someone to do the signing for me. I'll pay someone to pay the tip. I'll pay someone to walk for me. Man, I'll basically be a human vegetable and pay someone to feed me.

You don't have to chase a baseball down to hit it.

And take hockey, they play a long season of ~3-4 games a week, and get the snot beat out of them every time they're on the ice, risk serious injury, need great coordination, and have to be in incredible athletic shape to keep up.... AND they frequently play past 35 years old, even into their mid 40's.

All of those factor into tennis too.

And for the record, I'm not hating on you or baseball, I'm just saying the level of athleticism and ability required for baseball is way below that of other sports.

i personally think this is more a sign of how cheap the marlins are as opposed to arod being overpaid. There is no way a team of 33 major league players should be making only 21.8 million dollars as a whole. Yes they are somewhat competitive but if i was a fan of the marlins i would be pissed because basiically you are paying to go see a triple a team.
as far as steroids arod has never failed a test and the only word to come out is from jose canseco who has been known to lie right out of his ass.
and for those people saying hockey is the toughest sport. They play half the games of baseball and what do they play about 20-25 min a game at about 40-50 seconds a the shift ? i am not hating on hockey at all as it does look like a very tough sport that i dont think i could do but quit hating on baseball h:

25 minutes of hard physical activity. The average baseball game requires about 2 minutes of pysical exertion per player... the rest of the time is just standing around.

hate hate hate hfawk: Forealdo, not hating, just saying :hs:
