No really though it was a serious question cause me and my gf been looking around for houses/locations so we can have an idea for when we're ready in the future.

no because they probably entered into some type of contract already pending the money.

 

Depends if it their offer is accepted. Once an offer is accepted, you go under 'contract' meaning both parties are contractually obligated to complete the deal unless financing or appraisal goes through, or if the buyer backs out, they lose their escrow.
