firing gets easier due to over time i feel the people that we let go got their fair share of chances as well as opportunity to get better and try different things. it is very hard to get yourself fired, especially in california and especially within a large company. there are so many rules and things to follow, if you do get fired, 9 out of 10 times they really werent right for the posiiton

I never stressed out over firing someone, I always had documentation on hand, and they deserved to be fired. In five years at one hotel I went through 60 employees in a 9 person department no one was able to file for unemployment benefits when they quit or got fired, I did not lose any cases because I kept documentation on everything the employee did, good and bad. By keeping everything they couldn't argue that I only had bad stuff on them. For me it was harder to lay someone off.
