I see. Yeah Barrett's goes down to 100 also without the master materia... up to 3k with it.
Tifa is only in the 300s with the same materia I gave B :/

Use materia with a lot of AP like chocobo lure, All, whatever magics and summons you use a lot of. I never used magic that much so I always used Tifa and Barret's second to last weapon... forgot what they're called though.

i forgot what i used but i remember my tifa was attacking between 2000-3000 per hit. :dunno:

yeah the first time I beat the game, I love how they gave me the level 4 limit break, I was

 

All I did was buy a turbo controller, go to the southern island, wrap a rubber band around the analog stick so Cloud kept bouncing off the coast in the same spot and set square to turbo, then turned off my TV and went to bed. The next morning, everyone would be like 20 levels higher and all their materia would be mastered or close to mastered. Good way to master Knights of the Round too h:
