Thousand Oaks is typical Ventura County suburbs.
You're best off renting locally, because Hwy 101 will own your soul if you live any further east than Woodland Hills or Encino.
And forget West Hollywood.
It'll take an hour to get there from Thousand Oaks during the evening commute.
