dude if you are thinking about enlisting, (I just read the first 3 pages h: ) you will get a sign on bonus, that will at least help pay them down, if not off... my bro enlisted in the Marines in Nov and his sign on bonus was enough that he is looking at cash on a brand new Ram or F150.
Going to go talk to a Marine recruiter in the morning, may check out the other branches afterwards as well.
minimum wage x 40 hours a week + minimum wage x 20 hours a week = enough to get out of debt, slowly but surely
so if you got a day shift at a gas station and work 40 hours, you could still work 6-10 at night someplace else and still have free weekends... tack on 1 8 hour shift per weekend and you have 28 hours a week on your 2nd job.

you really think enlisting is going to wipe out your debt or save you? being in debt shows your (lack of) integrity. good luck getting a security clearance

obviously you dont know much about the military....
my cousin was in a similar situation and he has a high security job with the USAF. They will take him, they will also tell him that his sign on bonus is going straight to his creditors on his behalf.
If I get accepted I'll be killing two birds with one stone. Any money I get as a bonus will go straight to debt and I'll finally be doing something with my life.
