Default More HD-DVD/Blu-ray news

Anyone else seeing a trend?

I am borrowing a ps3 for the weekend to see how much better blu-ray source material is than the 720p mkvs out there.

1/4/08: Warner Blu-Ray exclusive
http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/sh...Exclusive/1325

2/11/08: Netflix and Best Buy Blu-Ray exclusive

2/14/08: (rumor) Toshiba dropping HD-DVD?
http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/sh...op_HD_DVD/1468

2/15/08: Wal-Mart Blu-Ray exclusive

Anyone want to give a guess on the order in which the following companies abandon HD-DVD? (Dates are bonus points)

Toshiba
Universal
Paramount

...Microsoft?

Warner was the final blow to HD-DVD, the current news is just twisting the dagger a few more times.

the current HD-DVD add on isn't too healthy for the 360. It's the most taxing thing you can do to the hardware.

It will all be determined when I go out and buy the machine...then the other format will come out ahead.
