Honestly though, you want McCain to win? I'd rather Mitt or Guiliani any day. If McCain got the nomination I'd vote for him over Hillary. But if it was him vs Obama? I'd have to think about it. Seriously. McCain is not a conservative. He's a republican but not a conservative.

 

no im not crazy about mccain, either. nevermind his liberal tendancies, but his only campaign issue is "i am responsible for the surge that is stabilzing iraq"

then his donkey in an elephant suit comment that sounds a little like "i voted against the bush tax cuts"

im still for huckabee with my heart but my brain tells me his chances are dwindling.

That's sort of the bet. Hopefully his Vice is a republican on the outside and the inside. Then when McCain coaks his Vice will take over and it will be all good.

Just Kidding (I think). McCain is workable I suppose. But I only agree with about 50% of his policies (about the same with Obama) while I agree with about 80% of Mitts and 70-60% of Guilianis. Not to mention character. The other three have much more IMO.

 

I'm honestly not going to vote but I dont care for any of our choices. I like Guiliani but his chances dont look so great. McCain is basically a Democrat and there's something about Romeny that I cant stand. I havent quite figured it out. I think its his first name

I'd look at his voting record. He played the "Maverick" card during the 2000 elections to stride the middle, but honestly, his vote record is pretty Republican. In fact, very republican and honestly really frightening to me (Though, he has repeatedly stopped the ANWR drilling attempts, so I will give him credit for that)

He's actually the most liberal of the bunch, and the only republican that would have garnered my vote over Hillary (If she got the nomination. I want Obama), but he's basically out with Florida.

 

mccain is not basically a democrat. not at all, but he is generally liked by both republicans and democrats.
