I'd look at his voting record. He played the "Maverick" card during the 2000 elections to stride the middle, but honestly, his vote record is pretty Republican. In fact, very republican and honestly really frightening to me (Though, he has repeatedly stopped the ANWR drilling attempts, so I will give him credit for that)

He's actually the most liberal of the bunch, and the only republican that would have garnered my vote over Hillary (If she got the nomination. I want Obama), but he's basically out with Florida.
