in los angeles... the foreclosures, short sales, reo's, etc are all in undesirable areas ....... the places most people want to live are still priced very high and some areas are even going up.
reason? people in the ghetto bought too much house/mortgage they could afford on a limited income, had bad credit which the lenders ignored, and overall poor financial responsibility
