im going thru a drawer of old stuff 8-10 yrs old
theres paystubs, receipts, instruction manuals, etc

i have a hard time throwing stuff away :hs:

im a pack rat then just randomly i get fits of having too much of that crap and start tossing it out.

then the very next day i need something i threw away :hs:

i have issues of SCC from 6 years ago. I keep all kinds of crap. I have two rubbermaid containers under my bed that is full of cables, hdd's, and restore cd's from pcs I don't even have anymore. My wife hates that shit, she doesn't keep anything.

stuff like that are worth keeping IMO. I have Roundel (BMW CCA magazine) from 1999 that I keep in a box.

anything with personal information I shred after 1 year or sooner (such as credit card receipt after I see it posted on my account). no need to keep stuff like that unless you own your own business and you need to keep it just in case you get audited.

i have all my paystubs from when i started here over 7 years ago.

still have email as far back as 02.

thats about it.
