Default Math peeps... How many possibilities?

How many different 4 digit sets can be created from the numbers 0-9 (0,1,2...9)? Is there a program out there that can creat all the possible sets? Thanx

I learned this in HS or middle school, but I forget how to do it.

I think its something like 9x8x7x6 but certainly don't quote me on that.

10*10*10*10, assuming you can repeat numbers.

as long as you can include 0's and 9's. 0000 would be the first set, 9999 would be the last set, and everything in between is included, so that's 10,000.

open excel. select all the cells, and then right click and select format cells. then go down to custom, and in the box put "0000". then put 0000 in the first cell and 0001 in the second cell. then select them both, grab the little box on the bottom right of the cells, and drag it down to row 9999. it'll put all the number in there for you.

I'm having trouble with this. Select all the cells vertically or horizontally? And when I dragged the 2 cells it just filled all of them with 0000 and 0001... what am I doing wrong?
