Default Network connection help!>!??!?!?!

ok so im having issues with something called the NAT settings ... its on strict and i need it on open ... i cant figure out how to get it right when i go into my router settings

any help would be awesome

its a wrt54g router

so i grabbed a switch i have laying around plugged it all in and its still set to strict. a 3com officeconnect this time

i think it has something to do with the internet i get from the office downstairs

i don't think it's the router, because i've gotten the same problem when i hook my xbox up at my parent's house and when i do it at the condo. two completely different routers and services and neither one is a linksys.

Probably. When i'm at my gf's apt, her building is wired with a "T1" and for some reason when i go to her place my NAT is strict. But when i bring it home and set it up at my place of course the NAT is open....go figure

are there any ports i could open on the network downstairs to fix that?

they have a sonic firewall but i know the guy who can fix it for me if i give him specific ports he might do it

• UDP 3074
• TCP 3074

have him open and map those ports to your router's public IP

then open those same ports on your router and map them to your xbox.
