Theres some talk about Warner possibly being in violation of something by doing this... so we are yet to see for sure. Still rumors are flying about the numbers involved in making Warner BD only too... some are saying upwards of half a billion dollars

Well, for us HD-DVD fanboys at least we know that the Bourne movies, as well as the rest of the Paramount/Dreamworks titles are HD-DVD only for the next year and a half or so still

I've been reading the Warner contract is only up until May and that is when they are making the switch. I don't care which media wins as long as something wins.

Yeah it is, I'm going to wait and see if this means worldwide though, or if releases will still be found in other countries... I don't feel like sifting through all the news stories to find out h:

you know everyone is saying what a pain it is having two formats but you know if sony or whoever had owned this from the beginning we wouldn't be looking at $200 players.
