Default Car Situation

Okay, here it is. I might have a buyer for my Prelude at 9k (KBB between Good and Excellent Private Party). Now, the reasons for selling it are this:

-I'm in a world of debt
-Car payment
-Insurance is approx 2200/yr

So basically, if I get rid of it, I found 3 beaters on Craigslists:

91 Accord 5spd
$900
$382.18/6mos insurance
http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/car/519504753.html

90 Audi Model 90
$1190
$396.45/6mos insurance
http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/car/512335805.html

92 Ford Taurus SHO 5spd
$1400
$350.21/6mos insurance
http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/car/518483434.html

or Skelly has a 92 (?) Accord that I would consider.

But basically those are my choices right there, and I'm leaning towards the 5spd Accord, then the SHO.

Opinions?

Also decided to move home by the end of February, my roommate said that would be okay, since he was considering the same. My father said he will find a way for me to get out of my lease.

So basically if I move back home and sell the lude I can:

Keep bike
Live for free
Have cheaper car (Skelleys car would make sense, I trust him)
Parents will pay off my $2k cc
Get out of debt faster

Should have just stayed home in the first place..

heehehe.. j/k yo.

or am I?

I'd sell the lude, pick up skelly's accord and save your monies. Pad your savings and move out when money's not a concern.

seriously, are you we todd did? How are a '90 Audi and a Taurus even on this list?!?!?! :slap: Given, the SHO has a decent japanese-made motor, but otherwise its a pile of shit, and if I had to chose the most downright un-dependable car I could get for $1190, it would probably be a late 80s-early 90s Audi

And a side note: you're getting ripped off on insurance. What company do you use?

Sorry, but I liked the SHO. My friend had one but the clutch went out, so he junked it.

I use USAA. Insurance is high, but given my history/age I understand why.

Skelly, if the Prelude goes, the Accord is mine
