Any recommendations on filters? I don't want to have too many fish for the 20 gallon.

If you want a good looking tank, this is THE most important step. Go cannister.

But get the 350 biowheel. Over filter big time.

Thanks! I've had fish in the past, but it's been forever. It was a one-of-a-kind driftwood fishtank table.

That looks great! I'll try to find pics of my old tanks. I could never decorate them right.

Remember: Cheap filter = cheap looking algea filled tank.

My first horrible attempt at a saltwater tank. :lmao:

I'm getting better; I'll snap a pic of my nanocube reef here shortly

I've always wanted a nice decent size fish tank. Just never had the time or money to invest in one and maintain it since i'm rarely home. :hs:

Definately will have one when I get a house one day.

ohhhhh I wish you would go saltwater then.

If you want to do a planted freshwater tank correctly, then it is going to be more money than a salt water tank.

You'll have to buy high intensity lighting, co2 tank and regulator, ro/di water source, etc etc etc.

Unless you are just going to do little plants here and there.

Just little guys. Maybe three of four of them, they feed off of some of the bacteria and toxins from what I've been told.
