So I took my car for a free oil change at the dealer, and while I was waiting a salesman showed me an 02 Jag. We took it for a ride (loved driving it) and I told him there was no way he can get me approved. Well, ended up filling out a credit app for it and would use the lude as a trade in. Just curious to see where it goes.

Anyway, how is insurance on the Jag $800 less per year? Is it because of the 6 airbags and the fact that its a 4dr sedan? I was shocked, and now slightly miffed at myself because I am losing alot of money just to drive a sporty car.

 

Beware that the depreciation on the X-type is suicide inducing and it's not a particularly fun car to drive IMO.

Horrible vehicles. Buy yourself a Ford Contour, it's the same vehicle.

 

Jaguars are notorious for piles of shit.

If you go through with that deal the dealer will be laughing at you saying that they got the better end of the deal.
