Plus I was just curious, no big deal.

I put the bike on Craigslist too
There are much, much, much, much, much, much better vehicles you can get for $10k than a Jaguar X-Type.

nowai I think you're right...I just added an inquiry on the 'credit analyzer' program on my credit monitoring service and it didn't change my scores.

I'd roll in a XKR or an XJR. A real Jaguar. As long as it's newer than 2000.

They're just not reliable cars, you have to know what your getting into when you you one.

the only jags worth owning were made prior to 1970... and even those are iffy unless you A) don't drive it, or B) have a very lofty maintenance budget.

Old-school 4Runner. I always point people in this direction when they want a jeep. Reasons a 4Bunner > a jeep:

1. Much more reliable. The 22re has just about the best reputation of any motor out there.
2. Better milage
3. More interior space for people/cargo
4. The top still comes off for summer panty-cruising
5. Better than Jeep off-road in stock form (more stout, less tippy)
6. UNLIMITED off-road potential if you want to go crazy. Some of the best rigs out there (excluding buggies, basically anything that is still a truck) are toyotas.

Getting one without rust, however, might be a challenge.
