A Microsoft vendor passed by the office for a sales pitch. He then dropped off a pile of samples for the Web sales team to make product evaluations on. Due to ethical standards, the higher ups cannot claim any of these items for themselves. They're passed down to the employees via raffle.

Each item has a paper bag in front of it. Every employee is given 3 tickets to place into the bag(s) of their choice. Here's what's available:

i'd say 2 tickets in flight sim X (though it'll probably run like mud), and 1 ticket in gears of war

new enough and popular enough that even if you didnt want it and got it ... the trade in at gamestop would prolly be pretty good.

otherwise the other stuff seems kinda crappy

and thats weird the higher ups dont take freebies, here whoever the reps give the stuff to get first dibs, then it filters up down diagonally or whatever direction the person feels like sending it

There are aboooout 60 people in IT. From the folks I've talked to, they're not even interested in participating.

I'm guessing 35, tops.

I do like the PC games. They seem to be pretty loaded up. (Like the Zoo Tycoon "collection")

That MS web builder program retails for $250+ ... that's awfully tempting, but might be the most popular item on the block.

 

but arent you supposed to evaluate what it is you get? so im guessing unless you want to sell used gear on eBay or whatever, you wont be able to do your evaluation?
