and why are you accelerating hard if the clutch is slipping? :/
Sometimes you have to get around slow cars while there are people moving faster in the lane you want to shift to.

Hmmm, the light definitely said "Check Engine". I think I might have a TCS light too but I have never seen it go off. I will check next time I start the car.

That explains your 15 tickets a year.

Actually, I have been pretty good about not getting pulled over. I never drive more than 5 over the limit now. I was talking about passing cars that like to go 60 in a 65 and such. Sometimes when you want to pass them, there's cars going like 75 in the passing lane so you have to scootch over quick.

So if TCS kicks in, it will trigger the CEL?

yeah I know how traffic is there...people like to do 30 in the slow lane of bridges.

TCS will make the TCS light blink. CEL has nothing to do with that, it warns you of an engine/emissions fault code and stores it. The CEL will never 'blink'.

The CEL was definitely blinking. I will try to recreate the problem and record it so you can see. I will also try to pull the code when I get a chance.

I didn't put all 82k miles on the car. I put about 30k. I got it Sept of 06. Never had any problems up till now.

Kind of off topic question. Do we get any special HAN discounts on modacar.com? I was thinking of getting an Exedy stage 2 clutch. Also, should I just get my current flywheel resurfaced or just get a brand new one?
