too slow to "browse" pictures :rick:
and dont even think about video :sad:
but it worked for emails when i didnt have a wifi connection
edit - i should mention that i forced my v3c to never enter evdo mode since it wouldnt work correctly with the alltel flash on vzw for mms
this is definitely slowing it down quite a bit, but you cant get away with evdo tethering without a plan for long before they catch you and make you pay $$$

It depends. Some providers require you to purchase a separate tethering data plan.
