yeah, it works, but its pretty slow. I had to do it while traveling a few times.

It's not that slow, although you may want to double check w/ your phone co. Some of them can tell if your doing phone as a modem and will charge you for it.

fyi its called tethering, and its usually a $15 monthly fee for att
if you are computer and phone savvy poke around howardforums and see if there is a workaround for your phone and carrier

before my laptop crashed and i lost mpt i could tether my v3c and use only airtime minutes, but it was pretty slow

Anybody try this with a blackberry? I have unlimited data too, and hardly ever use it. The internet is very slow a round here.
