If the Element got totaled, we'd get an Odyssey (more room w/ 2 kids). If the civic got totaled, I'd be shopping for either an S2000, used boxter S or used M3 convertible.

depending on my budget I'd get either a civic Si sedan or a TSX. odviouly the turbo SH-AWD would be awesome to get, but I'd proably end up getting a used version.
