I disagree. I <3 the S2K interior.

Because I am a broke ass 19 year old I would go with a 92-95 civic hatch. Or I might just buy another teg.

I think I see what you're driving at. The two cars are marketed as having different characters. I have to figure which one truly fits.

Just curious, did you ever drive an NB Miata when you were shopping for your AP1?

The thing I liked about the NB (and the NC) was that they preserve the balance between ride and handling — a lot like the old Peugeots — without losing feedback. You weren't punished with a unbearable ride if you wanted to loaf about and just cruise.

Since I haven't driven an AP2, I need to see that it can match that same sense of balance.

As far as buying one, the 3 big pluses for the NC PHRT are better ergonomics (over the NB), a more modern interior (again, compared to the NB) and the power hardtop, which I gotta say is a big plus when compared to the cost of replacing a slashed soft top.

Like I said earlier, I have to figure which roadster fits what I want. If I could keep the Integra for a DD, I wouldn't be as obsessive about this. I'd probably be more apt to go for the S2k, then... h:

I've ridden in one, but never driven. I don't mind a harsh ride though.

AP2 doesn't preserve the balance. if you're looking for a balance of ride and handling ap2 is the wrong car for you.

All you're going to do is void your warranty anyway... how good does it have to be? Some things are worth it.

well sure, i'm not going to blame mitsu if i'm racing the car and the trans/etc goes out, but if something like a window motor or something random goes out, you're damn right i'm going to use that warranty. its just general service/parts/environment is lackluster, ESPECIALLY when compared to other marques. i've been pretty turned off bringing in the evo for random doodads and service.

If the MR2 got wrecked again, I would only drive the Jeep.

If the Jeep got totaled, I'd get another Jeep.
