I think I see what you're driving at. The two cars are marketed as having different characters. I have to figure which one truly fits.

Just curious, did you ever drive an NB Miata when you were shopping for your AP1?
The thing I liked about the NB (and the NC) was that they preserve the balance between ride and handling — a lot like the old Peugeots — without losing feedback. You weren't punished with a unbearable ride if you wanted to loaf about and just cruise.
Since I haven't driven an AP2, I need to see that it can match that same sense of balance.
As far as buying one, the 3 big pluses for the NC PHRT are better ergonomics (over the NB), a more modern interior (again, compared to the NB) and the power hardtop, which I gotta say is a big plus when compared to the cost of replacing a slashed soft top.
Like I said earlier, I have to figure which roadster fits what I want. If I could keep the Integra for a DD, I wouldn't be as obsessive about this. I'd probably be more apt to go for the S2k, then...
