the only bonus in there is the Blu-Ray remote ($30 value) and 1 game.

the 40GB console has the MSRP of $399.99 everywhere.




Last Saturday, Wal-Mart (in stores) had 15 FREE Blu-Ray dvds w. purchase.

 

You don't get a game with the 40gb system that's sold everywhere though.

Any particular reason on why you're leaning towards the PS3?

 

Mostly due to driving/racing games, plus I really wouldn't do any online gaming.

I'm still very much on the fence between the PS3 & 360 right now.

then kick it up with this baaaaaad device.

If you wanted to game tomorrow ... like next September at best ... the PS3 is offering GT5.

Just educating the public on personal experiences. The decision is all his to make, but there's no way I'm going to say that the PS3 game library (today) = 360.

The potential is there, but purchase the PS3 knowing that it won't fulfill your needs right away.



a huge + for Forza is the ability to download new cars and tracks via Xbox Live.

Xbox Live comes in 2 different packages, Silver (free) and Gold ($50 a year, $15 at Sears ... ask for details).

Silver = access to downloads and free content
Gold = Silver + gaming and stat tracking.
