My parents put in hardwood this summer in the living room. Actually... it was timed JUST RIGHT for when I visit twice a year... so I did most of it.

My father and I redid the downstairs a few years ago with Brazilian cherry... quite possibly the coolest hardwood I've ever seen.

how wide is it?, what size is the room? are going to do a border?

The room is 12x12 roughly and I don't think I am going to do a border on the floor, too detailed for my current skills h:

that's the same size my friend did which I helped. get knee pads they help immensely... unless you have the FOB squat down pat :chuckles:
