Actually, while folding my sheets, thought came to me that it might just be the battery itself that needs replacing.

If it was the alt, it might refuse to turn over due to the battery being drained, but it wouldn't then turn over after being allowed to cool down...... that's what I'm thinkin. It must either be the battery or the connection(s) on there.

Better late than never :shrug:

edit: wait, when he says "clicked" he doesn't mean turned over w/ out firing, does he To me that means clicked but not enough juice for the battery to turn the starter, it seems so clear but everyone's got a different description:dunno:

They tested it and it probably was the battery so I got it changed. I also happened to have a brand new battery in my garage that I switched out for one that fit my car... and I got the $10 fee too

If it keeps up I'll bring it in next week and have them test the alternator again. I was actually looking forward to a little project for today, but oh well. I bought some other crap to fix other stuff on my car.


Oh and yesterday I switched out the gay rims wheel by wheel with my old Civic, so now I have black steelies on instead

Better then what I had. Plus I blew a tire on the one with gay rims and I had 4 much newer perfectly fine tires sitting on the car I am taking to the scrap yard. Soooo... 4 newer tires, black steelies and a full size spare in my truck!
