I'm just knocking the fact that Fox thinks they can pull this off without anyone caring.


waaaay ahead of their time. During season 1 and 2, their stuff was gold because it was so different and funny.

the public wasn't even close to being ready for that stuff.

sounds like they're trying to get a reason to cancel it. they'll lose seth, get horrible ratings, and then axe it.

 

I don't think family guy has lost its power...i think people have become desensitized to it and its very mood driven. It truly is a different kind of humor than most other stuff on television, and even as a huge fan, sometimes, i'll find i hate an episode, then see it weeks later and love it. (or the other way around too)

 

i wonder if seth macfarlane doesn't realize it sucks now and has conveniently decided to become the martyr.


and yes, Fox are imbeciles if they think they can pull this off. i'll be shocked if they do, but i can't see how the fans will stand for it.

although, i am interested in seeing the atleast the first episode they do without him, just to see how bad it sucks.

 

they should just purposely do a really, really bad job.

it'll receive the highest rates the show has ever gotten. then after that, nill. :chuckles:
