I am done with Sony altogether.

Their products have become subpar for years now and obviously their customer service blows goats ass.

i bought the 2 year service plan through best buy for 60$

thats covers everything EXCEPT physical abuse.

they would consider dust as physical abuse, as you didnt take the time to clean your system. so your $60 bucks just went down the tube.

actually it probably wouldn't. Im sure BB's customer service don't open the PS3 in order to see the dust. In this case they didn't see the dust from the outside but not until you opened it

no your wrong. dust, heat, humidity and any other acts of god are covered.

Its actaully a REPLACEMENT PLAN not service...
so i bring ti to best buy, the geek squad cheeks it confirms it does not work and they hand me a knew on right on the spot.
