You went enlisted and you have your degree? I think you will regret that decision with time... I'd try to get into OTS as fast as you can. Nothing agains the enlisted side - I was enlisted for 4 years - but the money alone is a major factor.
There's no AFI yet, but if you go on the AF Portal, there's the Uniform Wear Program site that specifically says not to iron them. They even have a list of detergents you should use to wash them. They're very particular for reasons I can't discuss in such a public forum. I'm sure you've heard some of the things...
The non-training side of the AF gets much better. Hopefully you'll learn to enjoy it as much as I do.
