Is that you, lieutenant? They just started issuing the ABUs to BMT trainees, I could buy them if I wanted to but I'll just wait until its mandatory in 2011.

Yup, that's me.

They're pretty nice, man. Absolutely zero maintenance. Truely wash and wear and no boot shining at all.

How do you like the AF so far? Must have taken the 6-year commitment to be an A1C. Good on you.

I was told before I left Keesler by my MTL that you should iron them. I think not!

Eh, so far it's been shitty, but that is training. Occupational should be a lot better.

No 6-year commitment here. I have a college degree so I was being paid A1C in basic, sewed the stripes on at BMT graduation.
