i had been in "bike mode" so long that when me & the girl were heading out to work, i came up to the left turn to merge onto the interstate & when i turned, i caught myself slide to the left side of the seat in the car & lean my head & body to the left....which got me a :hahano: look from her when she realized what i was sub-consciously doing & pointed it to me (i didn't even notice i did it) LOL
nice :chuckles:

I am actually contemplating riding it to Tombstone, AZ for turkeyday.
Yea I saw in your sig that you got rid of it I was just curious about how it was for commuting and long rides and I knew you had one so I figured I'd ask ya :hs:
Hey Drac how is the CBR for driving long distances? Say 50-100 miles?
Like James said, you gotta have the proper posture. At first the GS killed me on small trips, but I found a good posture for me and I as able to do 210 miles to Erie and back no problem (minus having to stop and stretch once each way).

yeah the day i got my 954rr, the 75 mile ride home almost killed me cause i didn't have the proper riding posture figured out...i was strickly a cruiser/dirtbike rider before going to that style bike, but once i learned the proper way to sit, my only limitation on a ride was how much fuel was in the tank

balls of your feet on the pegs (aka "catcher's stance") & use your back & stomach muscles to support your upper body & only enough pressure in your hands on the bars to control the bike & even the "buzzy-est" bike can/will be comfortable to ride.....usually
I commuted my 636 50 miles/day and canyons on the weekends, plus 2 rides to LA and back. No doubt I'd be more comfortable on a cruiser with all the miles but displacement had nothing to do with it.
