Packing and unpacking is by far one of the most miserable experiences in life.

holly had a condo at greek peak for a few months, it was nice up there

wait they are trying to rent one for themselves or they have one to rent out? h:
they are trying to rent it out. the family, parents and a daughter, who had moved in because they sold their house just like you and didn't have anywhere to go, just bought a new house and bounced on us.

maybe they would be interested in another short-term tennant? :rick: talk it over with them and PM me if they are interested, maybe we can make something happen

our only other alternative to getting a short term apartment/condo is if we find a house that is vacant (and we intend to buy it) see if we can rent it until closing....

looked at 3 houses tonight...

Holly loved #1
#2 was vacant and winterized so no lights and we couldnt really see... but the inside looked alright, the outside was meh... busy street.... so no.
#3 had me pretty much right away but there were some oddities and Holly didnt really like it. too bad cuz it had a kick ass back yard, it went back about 200 feet behind the house

back to the drawing board... :hs:

Forward progress ftw.

If I were you, I'd find places similar to what Holly likes.

she will win. the only care i have is that i dont have to do a ton of work and since she does the painting, i dont have much to worry about with most of the houses we look at it.

id just like to have a good functional basement.... something i can set up a bar & man lounge to play cards, set up the pool table, watch the game etc... and having a garage is a must but, we rarely even look at houses without them so that is usually a non-issue.

the 1st house taht she liked so much had a kick asss yard and the house was nice but the basement was meh.... good for storage only :hs: we might go back and take a 2nd look but who knows...
