2006 Kawasaki Ninja 250R
FYI, Kawi has released some details on the new Ninja 250R. Price is only $3500 according to the press release, so rumors of a price jump to $4300 were greatly exagerrated.

I've never seen a 250R in black before, that's definitely the best looking color. Helps hide how 1980s the bodywork looks. Good luck purchasing the bike!
Edit - it sucks for all you people who have to wait to take the MSF. There's openings every weekend here. Was a great 2 days for me.

might take me a bit to get use to "only a 250", but i could really enjoy running that nimble lil bastard thru some twisties
:rick:

If you compare these pictures

with this one

you can tell that the mirrors, windscreen, and signal lights are different. Also, the overall shape is more rounded.
In the end, I really don't care. Jessica is worth paying more attention to.

That bike is fine dude. Think of it this way....a lot of people over revs their cars when first learning now to drive stick. If you over rev your bike on a 600 you MIGHT pop a wheelie.....over rev a 250 and you don't get shit besides a little jolt.
Safety wise I think this is a good bike to learn on. I learned on an old 300...or was a 350.....
You will outgrow your bike, but when that happens you'll be much more experienced and 600's won't be a problem any more.

I'm trying to convince my roommate to not get the 500cc Ninja, and to get that 250 instead. He has only ridden my Rebel in the parking lot. He is like.. 5'6" and 110 lbs. He thinks he needs the power of a 500c. I told him he is gonna kill himself if that is his first bike.
There is a reason he hasn't ridden my GS500F yet.
