i hear they're boring day to day tho. Cichlids are by far the most entertaining fish to watch on a normal basis....most active.

I used to have a pair of those. They are Red Belly Pacu's, actually. Not a true pirrahna, but a close relative. One tore the shit out of my thumb one time when i was cleaning the glass.

They're badass......they just relax until feeding time. Even in the wild they don't anything til they're hungry. I saw this special on them a few yrs back on the Discovery channel. Freakin' awesome.

I'll be honest...i loved my cichlids, but my clownfish are way cooler. :chuckles:

yeah...thats why we space apart the feedings by several weeks. the good part is they need to get exercise to catch them.

I feed goldfish to my sea anemone about once a month. It's a nice change from it's weekly shrimp.
