And there's a difference between 10 cichlids (which you almost have to over populate in small tanks) and 21 fish in an unstable 20 gallon takn.
True. I was restocking a tank that was a year old when i put 10 in. Surprisingly, they've all survived 2 weeks now. I always expect to lose a few.

We have:
1 spotted pleco
1 spotted scat
1 albino rainbow shark
2 bala sharks
2 electric yellow lab cichlids
1 tiger barb
1 golden gourami
3 clown loaches
2 yo-yo loaches
1 jewel cichlid
All in a 60 gallon. They all get along. The spotted scat gives chase every now and then, being the biggest, but it's a good tank. My gf set it up. I'd rather have a bunch of schooling fish, but I gave her the tank for Christmas so she has autonomy.

If you look closely at the first mouse, the organs are coming out of it's left side after the first bite. :noes:
