It's retarded. It will take counterfeiters 10 days to spoof all those things. The US gov't should just hand out markers to everyone who wants them to check the money, it has been, and always will be the only way to really know, unless one has a keen eye and is taking 20 minutes to ring everyone up.

So far the color changing inks and the chemical paper are the hardest things to reproduce correctly, not the purple numbers.

I would have thought they'd mention that in the article if that were the case. Would be a great idea too, they use it on a few other things why not money.

You don't have to use your fingers persay, you can still use latex gloves or anything with heat really. It's a chemical reaction to heat.
