i hope you guys realize that the squirrels in this film were undoubtedly unharmed. if you watch squirrels for an extended period of time you will see them jump extreme distances and make crazy height changes from tree to tree ... i'm sure they walked away totally healthy and it being no worse than if a tree branch had broken on them

 

controlled jump of a squirrel =/= being shot out with a catapult dude. Just the hit of the plastic bowl to the squirrel i cruel. Then uncontroled flying in the air.

Plus not all squirrel jump long distances like you say.

 

believe me ... those squirrels are fine. i'd put money on it. a little shaken perhaps but fine.

 

dude i too live in a place where squirrels are all over the place and i seriously dont think they are unharmed.

i'm not stating that you never saw squirrels ... but i've watched plenty of squirrels fall 25-30 feet to the ground and be totally fine.

i've been hunting for squirrels for over 10 years ... sometimes you miss and wind up taking a branch out making the squirrel fall. believe me those fuckers are tough.

and that 'launcher' isnt going to shoot a squirrel any farther than 20-30 feet. just dont see it happening.

 

I'd have to agree with animal loving Rebeld for once. If a squirrel can do the stuff they do, then a shot from a catapult aint nothing

 

Except for that one that was launched right into the tree trunk at full force. That guy might be aching in the morning.

 

Those little bastards are all central park and I find them annoying
