Wood = not breathable, so it trapped all the heat and acted like a stove top.
His new Elite is horizontal again. Mine is vertical that is upstairs!
There was a revision to the Elite which had a 65NM core. Do you know the mfg date on your consoles?
Go Large bundle (w. Forza 2 / Marvel), should be 45nm.
Elite, September - December mfg date, should be 65nm.
Elite, pre-September 07 = 90nm.
My Elite was made in April of 07, This thing is hot fire. It's unpleasant to the touch.
