Secondly, grenades will not asplode when you shoot them on the ground. Didn’t make it into the build in time, but it’s still in the works for retail. You can still shoot grenades out of the air, though, and frags will still do minor impact damage should you bean another player with a direct shot. Which is awesome. And hilarious.

seems like Bungie got lots of viral jokes out there last week on the 1st.
So, Yahoo's Buzz posted an article on 6 things that kill your game system. They're all common sense. (link)
In a nutshell:
1. Heat
2. Dust
3. Not using a surge protector
4. Those unauthorized "modifications"
5. Leaving it on all the time
6. Airborne controllers
Okay, fine. Whatever. I then started to read some of the comments left on the article ...
"Surge protector? Haha! Reminds me of the days of the original Nintendo. I didn't listen to my parents and played it through a lightning storm. When a lightning bolt hit the house, it fried me and the controller, but the NES still kept ticking!"
Uhhhh....I left my PS3 on for a week straight and it ran better, every day after!
do you know whats also bad? HACKERS! my friends would tell me when there playing modern warfare2 on multiplayer with their xbox360 it sometimes would just turn off just stop and no read ring and then they would have to turn it back on again.
the "red ring" on the 360 is actually a soldering issue within the power brick that is provided as the AC adaptor for the system, not an "overheated system". and make sure that your 360 is laying flat, not upright like all of their ads show. the laser in the system will burn your games and movies if it's moved at all or in an upright position. it's stated in the user's manual that this can happen and that since you're told, they won't cover it. plugging in ANY system, especially a Wii or a 360 , to a surge protector will do WAY more harm than good. not only will it void microsoft's warranty, but their "brick" AC adaptors ARE THEIR OWN SURGE PROTECTORS!
This is just ... wow.
